About the Position:

The Sr. Software Engineer must integrate well with the culture of the organization and will have demonstrable experience. We are currently expanding operations in conjunction with our innovative mobile program that facilitates patient behavior modification. Our new product delivers a better solution and consumer experience then current options in the marketplace as we attack a $162B opportunity in the healthcare space. You will be working with professionally accomplished leaders and developers in a strategic development role helping us build tools to generate broad domestic and global market penetration.  The ideal candidate will be a key member of the organization.

Appropriate candidates have meaningful experience:

  • 5+ years of professional experience developing web applications using object-oriented PHP 5.6+
  • Agile development practices
  • Familiarity with MVC frameworks (Zend, Symfony)
  • Familiarity with application security and user authentication
  • User interface design standards (HTML5/4, CSS3/2)
  • Coding languages include:
    • PHP
    • JavaScript (Angular 1.x, Bootstrap, JQuery, JQuery UI)
    • SQL (MySQL, MSSQL, SSRS/SSIS)
    • MongoDB

Familiarity/comfort configuring/maintaining the following:

  • Linux (Centos/Red Hat, Ubuntu)
  • PHP 5.6+
  • MySQL Server 5.x
  • MongoDB
  • Apache 2.2+
  • Git
  • Selenium
  • Testing
  • Personal skills to facilitate client support
  • Interface with Sales, Customer Support, and Business Development teams to integrate with our decision support process

Other important skills include:

  • Ability to work with clients, both technical and non-technical
  • Ability to interface with senior management and provide constructive input to strategic discussions
  • Familiarity with healthcare (a plus, but not required)
  • Strong desire to work for a growth company and contribute significantly
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong Analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Team player, positive attitude, a willingness to compromise and be collaborative.
