Depression diagnoses are growing at an alarming rate. An estimated 21.0 million adults in the United States had at least one major depressive episode in the past year, representing 8.3% of all U.S. adults. In addition, it often co-occurs with other conditions such as obesity, heart disease, and stroke.
This assessment screens users for depressive symptoms to identify those who should undergo additional screening for depression in a primary care setting, and also assesses how symptoms impact quality of life.
